Different Drop delivers our customers' wine with Australia Post who have responded admirably to the the COVID-19 crisis but there are obvious challenges. Australia Post have experienced a very large spike in deliveries of heavy and fragile items such as wine, home exercise equipment and larger electronics (computer monitors etc). All these items require a specific type of manual processing so it causing delays with orders not moving quickly through the sorting process.
Australia Post are working on fixing the problem but in the short term unfortunately things are taking a bit longer than usual.
Australia Post will no longer require customers to sign for parcels. You will still need ID for Post Office pickups but no signature will be required.
