Weird and Wonderful Wines Of The World

As we turn on to the finishing straight on our July World Wine Tour, we reflect on the wonderful regions visited and the great wines drunk, and yet...there was so damn much that we missed.

So, in this trip around the weird wonders of the wine world we are stopping off in historic Georgia for a new Pheasant's Tears Pet Nat, di for some amphora Areni, Morocco for some Rhone-inspired Syrah, and a visit to Lebanon and the house of Hochar, Chateau Musar.

Around the edges of classic Europe, we have intriguing whites and reds from Greece, some innovative new wines from Slovenia and the Czech Republic, and funky new arrivals from Tillingham, the pioneers of natural wine culture in England.

And finally, a hop over the Arctic Circle takes us to Japan, where we've updated our wines from the wonderful Grace winery, and added some new releases from Hitomi and Marusan.

The world of wine is growing and flowing, so try something off the beaten wine rack.
