This wine comes from the McIntyre home vineyard in Mornington Peninsula.
Yearv on year, the fruit from this dry-grown block produces brilliant wines of intensity and structure. Vines planted as early as 1983 thriving in the warm, dry conditions on the Peninsula during the 2016 grow season, with excellent results.
The McIntyre Vineyard Pinot Noir is a wine for quiet contemplation. It will cellar well just as it impresses on release.
With a huge 96 points from James Halliday, this is a wonderful wine from a top-flight producer.
