2021 Francois Chidaine Touraine Sauvignon Blanc
Showing citrus and herbal flavours, this not a southern hemisphere varietal SB.
Instead, it's all about the the chalky terroir of the Loire.
Time on lees but no oak, Chidaine has crafted a tremendous value wine here, so you can have a little touch of France every day without breaking the bank.
It's a delicious Sauvignon full of purity, but it certainly isn't your stereotypical Sauvignon Blanc. Bright, flavourful, with a little edge, it's a tremendous bargain.
2023 Lambert Crudo Chardonnay
Yarra Valley Chardonnay lovers, there is some serious joy to be had here.
Superstar winemaker Luke Lambert's 'Crudo' releases always provide spectacular value for money, and the Chardonnay is a baller.
This is made with the typical Lambert funk and flair, but with a moreishness and poise that sets it apart from most other similarly priced Chardonnays in the region.
This is a linear, focused expression of the Yarra Valley with lively refreshing acidity. It crackles with energy. This Crudo is not that far behind the Luke Lambert black label Chardonnay in terms of sheer quality.
Hands down one of the best buys for Yarra Valley Chardonnays on the market.
2023 La Petite Vanguard Iberion
This is the first Vanguardist white wine in an a few years and it's an immediate return to form for Michael Corbett.
Comprising 56% Vermentino and 44% Fernão Pires, the grapes were harvested separately and fermented with their skins in open top tanks, initiated by spontaneous yeast. After five days, they were pressed together and completed primary fermentation in tank.
Following fermentation, the wine was aged in old French barriques for two months to enhance its texture, resulting in a zesty and mineral-driven character. Light, fresh and low in alcohol, this is a great anytime anywhere option.
2023 Wickhams Road Yarra Valley Pinot Noir
The Wickhams Road range is widely regarded as some of Australia's best-value vino. Made by the perennial bargain Yarra producer, Hoddles Creek, these wines hugely overdeliver in the bang-for-your-buck department.
With the family's pedigree for producing Yarra Valley Pinot, this might be the best buy/most popular of all the releases.
If you drink Pinot, this should be your mid-week staple.
A bargain, pure and simple. This is a case buy.

2022 Bernabeleva Madrid Camino de Navaherreros Garnacha
Bernebeleva's philosophy is all about making wines expressive of place, being in balance with nature and keeping the purity and charm of the fruit on show throughout the whole process.
Using parcels of Grenache from each vineyard on the estate, this wine is one bursting with vibrant deliciousness. It's got drinkability in abundance, finished off with great finesse.
This is the more approachable, every day version of his delicious Garnacha wines. Built to drink now with gusto!
2022 Brothers at War The Old Man Eden Valley Syrah
Second-generation vignerons Sam and Angus Wardlaw release this Shiraz as an ode to their old man, who has inspired and driven them to become the winemakers and people they are today.
The wine itself is a ball of flavour, delicious in nature, and very much a fruit-driven expression of the Eden Valley.
The Wardlaw brothers are making a pretty broad range of wines, showcasing both regional and varietal classics, while also not being hemmed in to any one set style of finished product. As an homage, we think they’ve done pretty damn well with this wine, and we’re sure their old man would be beaming with pride.

We want Different Drop customers to always be getting the best price. If you see a lower price elsewhere, just get in touch and we will sort it out for you. We handle all our price-matching on a case by case basis.
Some things to keep in mind:
- Retrospective price-matching is available for 30 days after you have purchased from us.

No, feel free to mix it up! There is no minimum requirement. You can order wines in any quantity or combination, 1 or 50+ bottles.
We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.
To add a gift box to your order, simply add at checkout. The special requests box is your friend, please give us as many details of what you are looking for and we will try our best, or get in contact to discuss it with you.
