About The Gin
The Applewood Gin is made by Brendan & Laura Carter, the dynamic couple behind Unico Zelo Wines and the Harvest Project wine co-op. These two are passionate about the Australian produce and sustainability. This Gin reflects their desire to distil the Australian landscape into beverage form.
They use grape spirit from the nearby Barossa Valley as the base and forage for native botanicals from their Adelaide Hills property and the surrounding areas to give their Gin a true-blue Australian feel.
Being winemakers, we're two people incredibly passionate about the soil and produce we have in Australia. It's our contention to showcase products to the rest of the world that embrace Australian native ingredients and pay homage to the custodianship of the indigenous people who maintained the land for thousands of years.
