Alex Sherrah's long and winding winemaking journey saw him make wine in France, Austria and the U.S.A., before stints at several Australian producers saw him eventually take the reigns at McLaren Vale favourite, Coriole.

After several years at Coriole Alex went out on his own and started his own label, Sherrah Wines.  Using varieties including Fiano, Chenin Blanc, Shiraz, Grenache and Nero d'Avola, Alex's access to great vineyards and a wealth of winemaking experiences has resulted in wines that are at once thought-provoking and deliciously approachable.

This is an exciting, artisan McLaren Vale project with a big future.
