Sami-Odi is the labour of love of sommelier-turned-winemaker, Fraser McKinley.

This small batch Shiraz project focuses around the Hoffmann’s ‘Dallwitz’ vineyard in the Barossa Valley. Fraser obsesses over these vines that were planted as far back as 1888.

He caresses the wines to bottle, crafting each cuvee with an incisive mixture of traditional and modern winemaking techniques learnt during his time in the cellars of Torbreck and Standish Wine Co.

Each year, the hunt for these wines amongst collectors becomes more and more feverish. And with good reason, these are transcendent expressions of Barossa Shiraz.
