2017 Rippon Osteiner
Vigneron Nick Mills files this wine under "Wines For The Thirsty".
Osteiner is a rarely seen Germanic variety that was born of Riesling and Sylvaner. Mills says that the plantings on Rippon make up half of the overal plantings in the world currently.
A light, crunchy and quietly spicy white wine of immense charm and subtlety, this is a lovely entry point into the fascinating world of Rippon Vineyard.

2017 Kindeli Blanco
Kindeli is the kooky label of Alex Craighead, a place for him to play and experiment with parcels of fruit that excite him.
This is Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay left to hang out on skins for a week before pressing in a mixture of amphora, old oak and stainless steel.
Everything is done the natural way, Alex watching carefully to make sure a clean and delicious textural white wine makes it out the other side.

2018 Cambridge Road Cloud Walker
Cloud Walker is an ultra-juicy blend of Pinot Gris and Riesling from the Cirrus Vineyard in Martinborough.
The grapes are grown organically, there's nothing added to the juice at any point in the winemaking process. What you see in the glass is the end result of great fruit nursed to bottle with a gentle hand.
Skins play a part, as does old barrels and ceramic eggs.
With no preservatives added to this wine, this is as natural as wine gets and it's down right delicious to drink.Read more about 2018 Cambridge Road Cloud Walker

Jason and Anna Flowerday farm their small Marlborough vineyard in accordance with the principals of organics and biodynamics. With a name like 'Flowerday', it's not like they ever really had a choice.
Their little part of Marlborough is a Garden of Eden where wild flowers grow and vines thrive.
Toru (Maori for 'Three') is a blend of Gewürztraminer, Riesling and Pinot Gris.
This is a super-aromatic, super-versatile white wine that can go with anything from a light salad to a piece of fresh Ocean Trout.

2017 The Hermit Ram Sauvignon Blanc
The skin contact white wines from The Hermit Ram are perhaps what this off-beat, cult producer is best known for.
This is Sauvignon Blanc that spent a month on skins before being pressed, a month long skin maceration is really pushing the limits with this variety.
Looking for a classic Kiwi Sauv Blanc, you better run the other way.
This skinsy, savage Sauv Blanc has some bite.Read more about 2017 The Hermit Ram Sauvignon Blanc
