About The Pack
Ricky Evans says the 2019 season is the best he's ever seen in Tasmania.
When you taste his 2019 Pinot Noirs, it's hard to argue.
There is not much in Tasmania that can go toe-to-toe with these wines at the price. Premium, hand-crafted, small-batch Tasmanian Pinot Noir at these kind of dollars don't come around every day.
Here's your chance to sample all three of his Pinots from the 2019 season at a terrific price.
2019 Two Tonne Tasmania TMV Pinot Noir
Two Tonne Tasmania has a simple philosophy; small parcels, big love. The TMV Pinot Noir is meant for earlier consumption than the Dog and Wolf Pinot Noir.
It's a glimpse at the vintage for the Tamar Valley sub-region. But make no mistake, this is not your average 'entry level' Pinot Noir, this has an edge to it, a personality all of its own.
The 2019 release of the Two Tonne Tasmania TMV Pinot Noir is a ripper. Ricky says it's his best yet.
A cracking wine with immaculate fruit and a savoury backbone - a great representation of the quality being produced by a new wave of Tasmanian winemaking rock-stars.
Stocks are limited on this release, don't hesitate.Read more about 2019 Two Tonne Tasmania TMV Pinot Noir
2019 Two Tonne Tasmania EST Pinot Noir
Ricky Evans is a star on the rise. His boutique label Two Tonne Tasmania is one of the a names to watch on the Apple Isle.
The EST Pinot Noir comes from a small, mature vineyard on the North Eastern coastline of Tasmania. Views of the sea can be taken in from the vineyard, a marginal site with a unique climate for producing finely detailed Pinot Noir.
The small inclusion of whole bunch lending structure and architecture to this wonderfully pure feeling wine. It's a treat to drink and only made in limited quantities. Ricky's wines are never available for long so if you want to see what he's up to, buy now or forever hold your peace.Read more about 2019 Two Tonne Tasmania EST Pinot Noir
2019 Two Tonne Tasmania Ziggurat Pinot Noir
The Ziggurat Pinot Noir from young Ricky Evans is a delicious, highly-gluggable version of Pinot Noir built for early drinking.
This wine is made from two different vineyards that Ricky manages. The fruit from these sites is more red fruited and juicy than his more moody and savoury TMV or Dog & Wolf Pinot Noirs. This fruit is primed for this Cru-Beaujolais-inspired style of wine that Ricky loves to make and drink.
This is about trying to find different expressions of this hallowed variety. Ziggurat is made to be a delicious early drinker, with Gamay-esque mouthfeel and tantalisingly vibrant flavours.
It's downright delicious.Read more about 2019 Two Tonne Tasmania Ziggurat Pinot Noir
