Hochkirch
Jennifer and John Nagorcka are the owners and vignerons behind Hochkirch wines in Henty, Victoria.
The property had been in the Nagorcka family for three generations before the vines were first planted in 1990, and they've now expanded to 20 hectares planted to varieties that suit the cooler climate there - Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling.
An 'old world' approach to winemaking and viticulture underpins this unique Australian estate. The grapes are all grown using biodynamic principles, the winemaking employs minimal adjustments. Low and slow is the philosophy.
