The Champagnes of Vouette et Sorbée are uncompromisingly original...

About The Wine
The Fidele Blanc de Noirs is the largest production wine from artisanal Champagne vigneron, Bertrand Gautherot.
This is the only wine of Gautherot's that isn't 100% from a single vintage. Fidele contains somewhere between 5%-10% reserve wine, the remainder harvested from a single season.
Fidele is 100% Pinot Noir, barrel-fermented and bottled with zero dosage making for a firm, vinous and savoury Champagne. As with all the wines from this genius producer, serve cool, not cold, allow it to breathe before serving in white wine glasses rather than flutes.
About Champagne Vouette et Sorbee
Uncompromising, unadorned, unmistakably hand-crafted, the wines of Bertrand Gautherot are the product of painstaking attention to detail in every aspect of production - from ground to grape to glass.
A student of the legendary Anselme Selosse, Gautherot farms just 5.5 hectares in Buxières-sur-Arce, Côte des Bar. A biodynamic-certified producer since 1998, his wines are made in tiny quantities and are highly sought-after by devotees of Champagne's true artisans.
Each cuveé is raised in barrel and no dosage is applied to any of the wines making for truly original, authentic, savoury and complex wines that speak of place. As Antonio Galloni once wrote, "they are among the most exciting wines being made in Champagne."
