“I was quite simply blown away by the wines I tasted at Marion. The vineyards are tended with maniacal passion, and that attention to detail comes through in spades in these wines.

About The Wine
This incredible Marion Amarone is made from 100% dried grapes from their much sought-after estate vineyards, and it perfectly captures the dignity and brooding power of this famous wine style. Made with a blend of local grapes, with Corvinone and Corvina the majority stakeholders.
It's rich, yes, but it also shows incredible drinkability. It's a wine that will age majestically for many, many years to come.
What a wine. So dark, intense and powerful, yet so elegant and refined.
About Marion
With a list of accolades as long as your arm, it's fair to say the wines of Marion are some of the finest in Veneto.
The current winemaker, Celestino Gaspari, worked in the cellar alongside the great Giuseppe Quintarelli for 15 years before taking on the role at Marion. With that sort of resume, it's little wonder the wines are now receiving wide acclaim.
Owned by Nicoletta and Stefano Campedelli, the beautiful Marion estate in Valpolicella covers about 21 hectares, but the winery only produces only about 70,000 bottles a year. Several celebrated Amarone producers take much of their sought-after fruit - mostly Corvina, Rondinella, Corvinone and Croatina, plus some rare Teroldego and Cabernet Sauvignon.
