If you are looking for tasty, easy drinking wines for mid-week, the wines from The Pawn Wine Co. are some of the best value you will find in the Adelaide Hills. The 2016 Pinot Noir is a delightful drink. The fruit was grown on the Macclesfield vineyard, managed by viticulturist & winemaker Tom Keelan and vigneron David Blows. This part of the Hills, with it's warm days and cool nights proved to be great conditions to produce the first Pinot Noir under the El Desperado label. It's not complicated or particularly intense, but it does offer plenty of Pinot pleasure at a very sharp price.

What it Tastes Like

Strawberry, pepper, rosewater and ripe cherry notes. It plays down in the lighter style of Pinot Noir, to be sure. This is light and rosy with a flighty fell, delicate tannin and a gentle fruit sweetness in the palate. Loveable Pinot at a great price.
