- The Home of Artisan Australian Wine!
The Shiny Rosé is built in a more voluptuous style than the classic pale and crunchy Rosé so popular at the moment. This is made from Bordeaux varieties and is left on solids for a full 10 months before bottling. Winemaker James Scott looking for more complexity in this pinkish wine. It's creamy, savoury, sweet and dry - a crazy experience to drink and one of the more interesting Rosé wines you are likely to find in all of Tasmania.
What it Tastes Like
Such an interesting wine. It smells savoury, leafy and even a little brassy. With the Cabernet making its presence known. In the mouth it pulls you in all directions, it starts with something like Lipton's Peach Iced Tea, sweetly fruited, a little creamy then a dry finish with some tannin, herbs and a bit of grunt. Interesting ride.
Made from Cabernet varieties and a bit of Pinot Noir. Wild ferment 10 months on full solids, super textural, with white peach & spice characters.
Closure: Screw Cap
Bottle Size: 750ml
