There's often not too much to get excited about with Pinot Grigio - that is, unless the winemaker takes it as seriously as Mark Ravenscroft. His Grigio is electric. Textural but vibrant, shapely but restrained, it's a great example of how this wine style can enthral a drinker as well as slake their thirst. Mike Bennie awarded the 2016 vintage 93 points, no mean feat for this humble variety and this unsung region in the south of Queensland.

What it Tastes Like

"Friendly kind of kick off – florals, white pear, nashi pear, nectarine, green herbs. Palate has a softness, a gentle lushness, cool acidity helping out, that lick of pear skin bitterness that goes down a treat. So ever, so seamless, so very high in drinkability. Charming wine." - Mike Bennie (The Wine Front)
