- The Home of Artisan Australian Wine!
This wine completes the trifecta of Nero d’Avola expressions by Lino Ramble.
Taken in context alongside the Tom Bowler Nero d’Avola and the ‘Ring a Rosie’ Pet-Nat, this may be one of the most interesting explorations of the variety thus far by any Australian winery.
The Pee Wee Rosé is a bright and cheery number; energetic, exuberant and ready for a good time.
Gary Walsh awarded it 91 points, looking for the perfect wine to waltz you into Spring?

What It Tastes Like
“You might call the colour ‘hot pink vs cherry red’, if you had the inclination. There’s a slight herbal/fennel perfume over raspberry frogs, but the taste is dry and pretty tangy – like cranberry juice – with fresh clean acidity, an almost earthy flavour, and a dusting of chalk on a bright finish, with an aftertaste not dissimilar to kombucha. It’s good.” - Gary Walsh (The Wine Front)
91 points “ Mid-cherry with lots of texture, half way between a rose and a red. A blush of red fruits, raspberry lollies, spice with savoury twist and intriguing saline character on the finish.”
- James Halliday (Australian Wine Companion)
91 points. “The last couple of boxes of samples from Lino Ramble have come with a postcard featuring winemaker Andy Coppard holding a chicken. Has an American Gothic kind of feel about it. I hope the gender of the chicken remains the same for future postcards…

About the Producer
Lino Ramble is the exciting creation of eccentric duo Andy Coppard (Winemaker) and Angela Townsend (self-proclaimed “Engine Driver”) born amongst the picturesque landscape of McLaren Vale. Their wines are built on the philosophy that “The right variety grown in right place, farmed in a sustainable fashion” is going to produce the best fruit and it looks like a winning formula. They focus on the classic Rhone varieties that have built the reputation of “The Vale” as well as adventuring into the realms of the likes of Nero d’Avola. Their wines have a distinct, textural feel and are brilliantly packaged and first class value for money.
The South Australian region of McLaren Vale is famous for its powerful red wines. Shiraz and Grenache have thrived for years in the Vale’s sandy soils. Nowadays, the region’s varietal diversity has majorly increased, the coastal location and warm climate proving perfect for a new wave of varieties from Italy, Spain and Portugal. The success of varieties such as Nero d’Avola, Tempranillo, Touriga Nacional, and Fiano has transformed McLaren Vale into one of the country’s most vibrant wine scenes. It’s where tradition meets innovation and it is producing some of the Australia’s finest wines.
Australian Nero d’Avola is one of the easiest-drinking red wines you are likely to find. This playful Sicilian variety is typically light to medium bodied, filled with jubey dark fruits and soft, silky tannins. It’s all about juicy drinkability with Nero. Though some cross the boundary into the area of ‘fine wine’, the majority are built to deliver maximum enjoyment as an early drinking style. Perfect for sharing with good friends and good food. The fact that it perfectly suits the Australian climate is just another tick in its box. Nero d’Avola is a variety that will play a big part in the future of Australian wine.
