Ritchie Harkham makes a unique style of wine for the Hunter Valley. By working closely with his partner growers and great attention to detail in the winery, Ritchie has been able to craft the only ‘natural’ and preservative free wines in the region.
The whole range carries his distinct thumbprint yet still speak beautifully of the region - it’s compelling stuff.
This Rosé is made alá naturalé in the Saignée method from his Hunter Valley Shiraz fruit. It is wild fermented and bottled without any tinkering, creating a frisky, slightly edgy Rosé with a personality all of its own.
What It Tastes Like
Fresh peeled oranges, christmas cherries, faint whiff of dusty herb-rub/crust - smells absolutely brilliant. It’s tuned right up to breaking point with a cut and slice of sour red berries, a playful tug of grip and strawberry shortbread and herby flavours ringing through the finish. Dynamite.
Organically grown in the Hunter Valley. Saignée method. No addatives of any kind. No fining or filtration - totally natural.

The Hunter Valley is the home of Semillon in Australia. Arguably the best in the world, Hunter Semillon is one of Australia’s most truly unique wine styles.
