- The Home of Artisan Australian Wine!
Flor Marché are making some interesting noises from the West Coast. The wines are made as naturally as possible. Sourced from organically farmed vineyards, produced with no additions except the bare minimum of sulphur (less than 25ppm). With such care being taken in the making, the price of these wines is remarkably reasonable. The 2016 Flor Marché Shiraz comes from a single vineyard in Wilyabrup, Margaret River. Basket pressed and bottled unfined and unfiltered, this is a loveable and easy drinking Shiraz which is great bang for your buck.

About the Producer
All the work is done in the vineyard, you shouldn’t need to make additions if you pick at the right time.
At least, that’s the thinking of Elizabeth Reed and Skigh McManus of Flor Marchè. Their eye-catching, naturally made wines are some of the more intriguing creations coming out of Western Australian wine at the moment.
This young duo are making a splash as they, along with their contemporaries, bring natural wines to the forefront of Margaret River and Great Southern wine.
Margaret River is recognised as one of the country’s finest wine growing regions. The quality of the region’s finest Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay rival the very best in the world. But Margaret River is no two-trick-pony. There, Tempranillo and Malbec are excelling, Touriga Nacional seems to be quite at home, Chenin Blanc is getting serious and even pockets of Nebbiolo are rearing their heads. Watch this space. Who knows what new surprises are just around the corner from this famous region.
Long held up to the rest of the world as Australia’s flagship red variety, the mighty Australian Shiraz has undergone something of a renaissance over the past two decades. While our robust styles of Shiraz from powerhouse South Australian regions such as the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale may have put Australian wine on the map, Shiraz from our cooler regions are giving the variety a new look. Wines from Canberra, all parts of Victoria, the Adelaide Hills, and the Great Southern, are all delivering wines of finesse and spice set to a lighter framework. The tapestry of Australian Shiraz is richly diverse, and will only continue to develop and mature into the future.
