- The Home of Artisan Australian Wine!
The Beautiful Isle White Delicious is a fruit salad blend of white varieties from the Beautiful Isle estate in Tasmania.
This unique mash-up of Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, the obscure German variety Müller Thürgau, Brown Muscat, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay is grown on the Marion’s Vineyard and is compiled on the blending bench by husband and wife team.
It’s a refreshing yet textural wine which comes loaded with complexity and ease of drinking from the get go.
A one-of-a-kind blend, beautifully packaged and ready to rip into. Great stuff.
What It Tastes Like
Perfumed aromatics of musk, pear and spice. Such lovely springtime smells. Puts you right in a good mood. Lemon sherbet, mandarin, with nice and zingy acidity. Got some charisma and some weight. Cool wine.
This wine changes every year with what we have available, varieties and volumes which are small and need a home. Every year I am amazed at how different and textural the wines are and how I love that they are different every time. The main base is Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and MÜLLER THÜRGAU with some Muscat, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay added at times if it doesn’t fit the parent blend!

About the Producer
David Feldheim and Cynthea Semmens tend the vines on their Tamar Valley property. It was planted by Cynthea’s father to a range of interesting varieties. Syrah and Cabernet do exceedingly well on their property, as does the region heros of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Their eye-catching packaging paying tribute to the Apple growers of yesteryear that earnt Tasmania the nick-name ‘Apple Isle’.
