Chasing something tasty to have alongside your Sunday pizza? The Amato Vino Rosso has got you covered. This tasty little demon comes from Ashley Ratcliff's fantastic vineyard, Ricca Terra Farms in the Riverlands. It's an unconventional blend of Nero d'Avola, Tinta Berroca and Negroamaro built for medium bodied speed. The blend is managed with great success by Brad, each variety playing its role with none standing out. Nero leads off with the typical 'jubey' characters, there's acid from the Tinta Berroca and the savoury tannins of the Negroamaro. This is a perfectly put together red for easy drinking with interest. This is a belting wine for its price, ripe for drinking any time of the year.

What it Tastes Like

Starts with red berried goodness. Crushed raspberry, red licorice, some blueberry and spices. In the mouth it's tighter and firmer than you expect. Acidity is the driver with fine, firm tannins in support. It's a neat little package that finishes savoury and dry. Cracking mid-week drinking.
