This Shiraz is about drinking pleasure, pure and simple. Cherubino fully believes in Frankland River's potential to produce some seriously classy Shiraz, and given the quality of this offering, he's definitely on to something. The 2015 received 95 points from James Halliday, a wine of remarkable quality for the price - and the 2016 vintage looks every bit as good. Looking for a more supple, spicy style of daily drinking Shiraz? Well, here it is...

What it Tastes Like

Blueberry and black cherry pie, cracked pepper, sweet oak and some almost floral top notes. It's a pretty wine with a smooth, velvety feel. Fine tannins lay a powdery bed for the sweet berried fruit and a spice accent on the finish of good length. Good WA Shiraz obviously made well with the intent for it to be consumed immediately.
