Abbey Creek is a vineyard located in the Porongarup sub-region of Great Southern, WA.
The property is owned and run by husband and wife Mike and Mary Dilworth with the wines being made by Robert Diletti of Castle Rock Estate. Their speciality and the variety they have received the most accolades for is undoubtedly the Abbey Creek Riesling.
The 2016 is a prime example of why this region has become so famous for Riesling. It’s long, fine and floral with great intensity. Built for enjoying now or a sleep in the cellar, this 94 point Riesling is great value all round.

Abbey Creek Vineyard is on the northern slopes of the Porongurup Range with two boundaries with the Porongurup National Park. The Porongurup Range itself is Pre-Cambrian, with the gravelly loam soils of the vineyard derived from its erosion and outwash. Our vineyard is typically cool climate, with annual rainfall of about 800 mm, cool frost-free winters and mild to warm summer temperatures.
