Yet another ridiculously good value new release under Willow Bridge's Dragonfly label. Ridiculously good. This wine, along with Willow Bridge's more 'premium' Coat of Arms Cabernet Merlot blend, are seriously throwing down the gauntlet to Margaret River. The wines are varietal, balanced, and ripe without losing focus. Flavour-packed and classy. How they do it I'm not quite sure, but Willow Bridge lay claim to what is absolutely one of the best value for money wine ranges in the country. And they've done it again with this receiving 92 points from Gary Walsh. Hats off to them.

What it Tastes Like

"Those in the know know this wine is a gift to the Cabernet drinker seeking ‘real wine’ with ‘real tannin’. No change this vintage: it’s spot on. Black fruit, slight violet perfume, light spicy oak, dark chocolate and maybe a bit of of tobacco and pencil. Medium bodied, red and black fruits, subtle nutty oak, firm grainy tannin, balanced acidity and a long fresh finish suitably infused with that signature tannin. It’s a great drink. A case buy, perhaps." - Gary Walsh (The Wine Front)
