It embodies so much of the S.C. Pannell philosophy, it is bright, medium bodied and made for drinking in the warm Aussie climate. If you have loved the by S.C.P. What it Tastes Like
Smells of cherry cola and plums. There's a meatiness to it, a spiced backbone that leads interest to its super friendly fruit character. It's fun to drink, which is the key. Not overly complicated, it tastes of blueberries dipped in chocolate and spicy smallgoods. So delish.

Quite simply, Steven Pannell is one of Australia’s finest and most imaginative winemakers. He’s a Jimmy Watson Trophy winner, a McLaren Vale Bushing King winner, a two-time Max Schubert Trophy winner, International Red Winemaker of the Year and Decanter Magazine’s 50 Most Influential Contributors to the World of Wine. The South Australian region of McLaren Vale is famous for its powerful red wines. Shiraz and Grenache have thrived for years in the Vale’s sandy soils. Tempranillo is a hot-blooded Spanish variety that has found a happy home in many Australian wine regions. Typically, Tempranillo will be medium bodied, showing silky darker fruits and tannins riddled with exotic spices. The wines are more-ish and incredibly well suited to alfresco Australian dining. Unsurprisingly, Tempranillo is one of the country’s most popular emerging varieties and is set to have a big future on Australian shores.
