Eden Road's 'The Long Road' range has always prided itself on offering superb value for money and this suave little Pinot Noir is no exception. It comes from two Tumbarumba vineyards - one at Maragle (450m elevation) and one at Courabyra (750m elevation). It is the perfect introduction to what Nick Spencer and co.'s high altitude - cool climate wines are all about. If you're a Pinot drinker you know too well how hard it is to find good quality examples of this famous variety under $30. No such problem here, this is a classy little wine that not only over-delivers in sheer drinkability, but also highlights Tumbarumba's ability to produce high quality and distinctive Pinot Noir. Affordable Pinot Noir with unique character made by a quality producer - it just doesn't get much better.

What it Tastes Like

Bright cherry aromas and spicy, sappy notes from the whole bunches employed. Light-to-medium bodied on the palate with plump, plush red fruit flavours and mixed spices. Good acidity and tannin, subtle oak and a pleasant, moreish finish. All in all a really approachable little Pinot with a surprising amount of depth at the price.
