Here we have yet another rising star from the Adelaide Hills region. Turon White doesn't even have his own winery yet, but the quality of his first few releases are excellent. This Shiraz is from a vineyard in the Mount Barker sub-region made with around 20% whole bunches and 18 months in French oak. It's a cracking release, one that has put him on the map in a short amount of time. Campbell Mattinson commented on the 2015 that, "If this is what to expect, then Turon is a name to note... Everything is in excellent order, including the asking price. " and awarded it 94 points. A great first release from a firey young producer and with only 55 dozen made, it won't be around for long!

Medium weight but juicy and sleek in the palate with thirst crushing acidity and light peppery finish.
