What it Tastes Like
94 points. "Bright in the glass; fresh-faced flavours of cherry-plum, licorice, earth and dried spice; elegant but powerful with beautifully judged oak. Linger of smoky minerality to the aftertaste elevates it further." - Campbell Mattinson (Australian Wine Companion)
TASTING NOTE A traditional medium bodied Hunter Valley Shiraz. Aromas of cherries and mulberries are layered over delicate notes of dried spice and toasty oak. An intense and fruit driven palate is long and persistent with beautifully balanced velvety tannins giving the wine great mouth feel and drinkability. CELLARING Drinking beautifully now, but will age well over the next 8 years.
