An intense and powerful style of Margaret River Cabernet brought to bottle here by Evoi founder and winemaker Nigel Ludlow. This is the top tier of Nigel's fruit selection. It receives the best French oak and is released after being in bottle for two years. This is the most compressed styling of Cabernet blend he can muster from his Wilyabrup block and it packs a punch. Destined for a long life in a dark cellar, this is a fine example of premium Margaret River Cabernet with immense presence in the glass.

This is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot, 5% Malbec, and 5% Merlot. Fermented as small parcels with manual punch downs, the mainly free run must finishes ferment in French barriques to further undergo mlf. The wine is unfined and minimally filtered to enhance body and retain the fine grained tannins. Tasting Notes: Aromas of intense cassis and blueberry are supported by plum, black olive, fresh tobacco leaf, cocoa, and truffle notes. The palate is both huge and velvety, with the fruit and savoury notes tightly held together by the Petit Verdot structure. The finish is seamless with ripe tannins and integrated French oak.
